Sometimes.... Sometimes isn't enough

I came across this interesting piece on the internet... Just wanted to share it..

Sometimes conversation is the last resort to silence. Sometimes your true calling turns out to be a false alarm. Sometimes the least one can do for others is not exist. Sometimes you star others' tweets just to annoy them. Sometimes even emoticons fail us. Sometimes we act exactly the way we are—and are duly surprised! Sometimes i feel emptier than my bank account. Sometimes music ends up touching all the inappropriate parts in an appropriate manner. Sometimes the darkest hour takes place in broad daylight. Sometimes you need chaos to remind yourself that you're alive and kicking. Sometimes the questions are wrong and answers, right. Sometimes even the superheroes don't come to our rescue. Sometimes you feel older than death. Sometimes we're too selfish to understand love. [Corollary: Sometimes that's how it should be.

Sometimes opportunity loses direction and knocks on your window. Sometimes forever lasts a bit too long. Sometimes you don't know what you're trying to do until it's done. Sometimes people talk to you because they want to hear their own voice. Sometimes you have to destroy yourself to know who you really are. Sometimes our mere existence is a euphemism for getting a joke right. Sometimes even death falls shot of curing fame. Sometimes you feel trapped like that fart inside an overcrowded compartment of a local train. Sometimes your youth outlives you. Sometimes you do your friend a favour and he doesn't forgive you for that. Sometimes she stares at him and witnesses herself fading away. Sometimes "How are you dying?" evokes a more honest response than "How are you doing?".

Sometimes life cycle gets punctured by career. Sometimes you're merely few people away from getting a headache. Sometimes giving up requires courage too. Sometimes cussing works wonders while prayers don't. Sometimes things are right in front of you but you don’t see them. Sometimes you're so hormonally fucked up that even Kolaveri Di or Gangnam Style makes you weep. Sometimes you need that someone to wake you up from your hopeless dreams. Sometimes you just want others to tell you "It's alright" when you yourself know that it isn't. Sometimes all you need is Rajinikanth to pat your back and say "Don't worry". Sometimes we ask questions only to receive more questions in return. Sometimes joking is injurious to ego. Sometimes your entire body feels like that fingertip on which a butterfly just landed. Sometimes we feel like that finger that has just gotten out of the nose.

Sometimes the night feels like talking to morning but then realizes that the latter doesn't deserve such cruelty. Sometimes i wake up in the middle of the night to make sure i ain't dead yet. Sometimes we've got to heel ourselves. Sometimes your inner voice is accented too. Sometimes you wonder why you waste your time on something as trivial as virtual world. Sometimes i wish i was a shepherd who earned at least as much as i'm currently doing. Sometimes our luck can't help being a kleptomaniac. Sometimes your plans resemble an e-mail typed with buttocks. Sometimes all you need is a voice to tell you how messed up you really are. Sometimes our soul sounds like it's taking a dump. Sometimes enough is almost enough. Sometimes she acts like a guitar with messed up chords. Sometimes a song doesn't like you. Sometimes you feel as clueless as that toothbrush lying on the dining table. Sometimes your office appears a lot like home but with more egoistic characters. Sometimes sentiments are available in subsidized format.

Sometimes all you need to do to make the world a better place is sleep on time. Sometimes it takes more than a lifetime to find that place called home. Sometimes silence is the biggest lie ever told. Sometimes even an elevator lets you down. Sometimes your past dances like crazy in front of you leaving you wonder - "What the fuck is this all about?" Sometimes we are what we are—nothing more, nothing less. Sometimes she misses his incompetence. Sometimes it appears like our whole existence is staged. Sometimes fate makes you feel like an unpaid whore...and then you get used to it. Sometimes all you want to do is nothing and still you're unable to do it. Sometimes i wish i was bored like you instead of busy like me. Sometimes starting sentences with 'Sometimes' doesn't help the case.

There is no concealed purpose or Agenda for this note. I just want you to know that I'm really glad to have met you and to know you. If you maintain the same attitude, you are going to do great things in your life, and I am truly very excited for you. It would be nice for our paths to cross again one day, but failing that I wish you the best in everything you do.

Para Siempre te Amare. Para Siempre te querre, Mientras en mi haya vida. Siempre sera mi bebe.

It is special while it lasts, but when life has different plans for you, you must go with the flow and part on terms that are amicable. I agree, watching people leave is hard, but it's harder remembering that time when they promised they wouldn't
It's okay sometimes to go to sleep when things haven't cooled off between two people. Sometimes talking about things only makes it worse.

The Rules of Being Human

You will receive a body.  You may like it or hate it, but it will be yours for as long as you live.  How you take care of it or fail to take care of it can make an enormous difference in the quality of your life.
You will learn lessons.  You are enrolled in a full-time, informal school called Life.  Each day, you will be presented with opportunities to learn what you need to know.  The lessons presented are often completely different from those you think you need.
There are no mistakes, only lessons.  Growth is a process of trial, error and experimentation.  You can learn as much from failure as you can from success. Maybe more.
A lesson is repeated until it is learned.  A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it.  When you have learned it (as evidenced by a change in your attitude and ultimately your behavior) then you can go on to the next lesson.
Learning lessons does not end.  There is no stage of life that does not contain some lessons.  As long as you live there will be something more to learn.
“There” is no better than “here”.  When your “there” has become a “here” you will simply discover another “there” that will again look better than your “here.” Don’t be fooled by believing that the unattainable is better than what you have.
Others are merely mirrors of you.  You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects something you love or hate about yourself.  When tempted to criticize others, ask yourself why you feel so strongly.
What you make of your life is up to you.  You have all the tools and resources you need.  What you create with those tools and resources is up to you.  Remember that through desire, goal setting and unflagging effort you can have anything you want. Persistence is the key to success.
The answers lie inside of you.  The solutions to all of life’s problems lie within your grasp.  All you need to do is ask, look, listen and trust yourself.

Incomplete yet perfect!!

Maybe I'll sing for you someday in languages only we both will know, but till then, lets just be silent.
Maybe you'll get to know some day how much I yearn to be in your thoughts,
Maybe it will all fall into the right place someday, and maybe we'll meet
Or maybe I'll grow up, and you will be somewhere in my memories, long forgotten, just like an imaginary friend.

What is love? Deep introspection only makes me realise that no one really knows what it is about. If we knew, everything would have been perfect. having learnt from experiences, everything has a loophole, I have come to believe the same exists when it comes to love.  People live their whole life with this misconception that love happens once in a lifetime, we do love our parents, friends, and so many people, doesn't that provide a paradoxical view?

Someone told me a very good thing which I remember very clearly, satisfy your own needs before satisfying others needs. If you are busy satisfying other people needs instead of our own, then sooner or later you will start regretting many things in your life. We always think that it’s too late to act  and end up spending our whole life with regret.

Life is a compromise but not at the cost of your dreams and goals. Why? Who the hell anyone is to govern your own life? Who the hell are you to govern someone’s life? Once you satisfy yourself, you do what you always wanted to do then only you can satisfy others.

Life is tough, but we can make it easy. Doesn’t matter how rough is the situation; it’s never too late to act.
Someday sooner or later people are meant to leave us. We have to accept it the way it comes doesn’t matter what the situation was, how true your love was or how great friends you were It’s the same in every case.  It’s true that if such things happen definitely we will be sad. The important realisation we need to have here is simple; Like Love, relations you build are eternal. It depends completely upon you as to where you would like to go with them. All a relationship needs, is fulfilment on two counts - Love and understanding. If you have both, that relation is eternal.

Life moves on, it doesn’t matter how rough the situation is, one day there has to be a dawn. Same way we should learn to move on, come out of the misconception that in a whole lifetime only once we can fall in love. I contradict this; you can fall as many times as you want. And people who tag you as emotionless or easy going let them do that, as people who can’t move on in their life can’t do anything worthwhile.

Life is all about moving on treasuring the memories of your past and keep on moving till the time you are freed from this universe. One has to accept few things the way it comes. You can’t force people to be with you forever, everyone has a certain time limit in your life, they will stay till that time comes and then they will leave you on your own. Instead of brooding over it, make that time worthwhile for each and every person who is there in your life. And then see how your life will bloom.

No one is good and no one is bad, it’s the situations which sometimes turn them into an angel and sometimes into Satan's evil child. It’s not only you who has a problem; there are over 7 billion people all over the world with 7 billion different fates. And each one of them has some issues with life. Nothing is perfect, if it was then there was no need of God or the power which balances the whole system the whole universe. Obstacles are a part of life, they teach us at every point of time. Whenever we face something out of the box then that means there is a need of learning something which we are actually lacking. And that’s how one gains experience, few take it in a good spirit and use that negative energy to do wonders in life.

This is how I sum it all up, life gives you lessons,  experiences and situations.. some complete yet imperfect, some incomplete, yet perfect.

Dealing with Attachment

If there’s one thing we all have in common it’s that we want to feel happy; and on the other side of that coin, we want to avoid hurting. Yet we consistently put ourselves in situations that set us up for pain.

We pin our happiness to people, circumstances, and things and hold onto them for dear life. We stress about the possibility of losing them when something seems amiss. Then we melt into grief when something changes. We attach to feelings as if they define us, and ironically, not just positive ones. If you’ve wallowed in regret or disappointment for years, it can seem safe and even comforting to suffer.

In trying to hold on to what’s familiar, we limit our ability to experience joy in the present. A moment can’t possibly radiate fully when you’re suffocating it in fear. When you stop trying to grasp, own, and control the world around you, you give it the freedom to fulfil you without the power to destroy you. That’s why letting go is so important: letting go is letting happiness in.

It’s no simple undertaking to let go of attachment—not a one-time decision, like pulling off a band-aid. Instead, it’s a day-to-day, moment-to-moment commitment that involves changing the way you experience and interact with everything you instinctively want to grasp.

Learning life lessons the hard way, is something I feel I am getting good at. Learning to be attached yet detached, was something that I was always told to learn and accept, but then again the importance of the same, never really hit me until recently. But then again, life with its plans for me has handed this twist to me, and I take it with my chin up. Like the famous quote from Rocky which basically tries to give you the message that life is going to keep hitting you... You need to get back up and let it know, you can take more.. take it until life accepts that you are a fighter.. I will fight for what I believe.

There is great joy in becoming free. You can focus on what you would lose or how hard it would be, but you forget that the reason you let go is to be opened to more joy. You feel more confident, more peaceful, more joyful. You can take in a big breath, smile, and simply feel good. Sometimes it is not until you taste freedom that you understand how wonderful it really is.

There is a healing that can happen in you, if you so need. If you carry around past wounds, you can be understanding with yourself. Embrace yourself and tell yourself that from now on you will take care of that person in you that was injured.
There is a real and good plan for your life. There can be much more joy and peace and love than what you have experienced so far. Consider that you have a certain purpose for being here and that it is good.

Negative, critical thoughts do not make us better at life. They make us feel stuck, weak and unmotivated to move forward. It is choosing to look at things positively that will empower us to do the right things.

In finding the hope that new beginnings are always possible, no matter what, lies the key to being truly attached yet detached from people and things that you feel affect you. We tend to want change to happen right away. But you need to be patient with yourself. If you fall back from time to time, don’t get discouraged. This is a step-by-step journey. Get up and move forward again. You have never lost your prior successes even if you have had a slipup.

The important realisation that dawned upon me this morning while lying in bed, Instead of looking at this time as a negative thing, look at the beauty of it. Every challenge we face is only a wonderful opportunity for us to discover the life we were intended to have. Just as a caterpillar has to struggle before it becomes a butterfly, we often are faced with a similar process toward transformation. I look forward to the challenge, to learn and grow with it, and am curious to see where life leads me with this.

One thing I am sure of, is that I will always cherish the happiness, and leave behind the pain, though it is easier said than done.
I fight my fight, and wish you luck with yours.
